The tutorial was on Thursday March 24th, although towards the end of the conference it gathered quite a full room.
As it is difficult to even define what access/metro convergence is I think more than a tutorial it was an opinion on the topic, but it was well accepted by the public.

I have been invited to give the Keynote talk on the Monday evening at the IEEE Consumer Communications & Networking Conference, in Las Vegas on January 11th, 2016. I’ll be talking about Access-Metro convergence in future broadband networks, and will introduce some of the pen access arguments behind the O’SHARE project. CCNC is the IEEE conference that follows the annual CES exhibition.

O’SHARE is an SFI-funded (www.sfi.ie) research project on optical access Software Defined Network. The project has started on November 1st, 2015 and will run for 4 years. It will investigate the application of Software Defined Networking to the fixed optical network access to enable multi-tenancy and multi-service operations. Click here for the full news.
