Keynote speech at IEEE Consumer Communications & Networking Conference, Las Vegas

I have been invited to give the Keynote talk on the Monday evening at the IEEE Consumer Communications & Networking Conference, in Las Vegas on January 11th, 2016. I’ll be talking about Access-Metro convergence in future broadband networks, and will introduce some of the pen access arguments behind the O’SHARE project. CCNC is the IEEE conference that follows the annual CES exhibition.

O’SHARE Begins

O’SHARE is an SFI-funded (www.sfi.ie) research project on optical access Software Defined Network. The project has started on November 1st, 2015 and will run for 4 years. It will investigate the application of Software Defined Networking to the fixed optical network access to enable multi-tenancy and multi-service operations. Click here for the full news.
